About Me
Hi, my name is Jake. I'm a software engineer and security researcher. I also enjoy painting and playing miniature wargames.
This is my blog, where I dump things I think are worth sharing (or at least thought they were at one point or another). This will probably mostly be technical content, but who knows, I might write something about my hobbies as well.
As far as my background goes, I have a BS/MS in Computer Science from UC San Diego, with a focus on Security and Cryptography. I published a few papers around hacking mice, the Dual EC DRBG random number generator, and the Juniper ScreenOS incident.
Since then, I've worked as a security and software engineer at Meta, focusing on building secure-by-default frameworks for application/product security.
